Depending on your nationality you will be limited to a certain amount of days when you arrive on a foreign flight in Thailand. Crossing a land border in Thailand only gets you 15 days stay. Visa exemption for 30 days for tourists from:

  • Australia, Austria,
  • Belgium, Bahrain, Brazil, Brunei,
  • Canada,
  • Denmark,
  • Finland, France,
  • Germany, Greece,
  • Hong Kong,
  • Iceland, Indonesia, Ireland, Israel, Italy,
  • Japan,
  • Kuwait,
  • Laos Luxembourg,
  • Macau, Malaysia, Monaco,
  • Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway,
  • Oman,
  • Philippines, Portugal,
  • Qatar,
  • Singapore, Spain, South Africa, Sweden, Switzerland,
  • Turkey,
  • United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, United States of America,
  • Vietnam

*** Exception: As stated before all tourists from the above-mentioned countries travelling overland crossing in Thailand via a land border are allowed to stay in the Kingdom for 15 days, except Malaysians which is for 30 days.

 

Visa exemption (bilateral agreement) for 90 days for:

Argentina, Brazil, Chile, South Korea, Peru

 

Visa exemption for 30 days (bilateral agreement) for:

Hong Kong, Laos, Macau, Mongolia, Russia, Vietnam

 

TOURIST VISA ON ARRIVAL:
Visa on arrival: THB1000  for 15 days, for: Bhutan, China (including Taiwan), Cyprus, Czech, Estonia, Hungary, India, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Maldives, Mauritius, Oman, Poland, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Ukraine
